The Estimator will be a key player in our pre-construction phase, managing budgets and assisting in project bidding. You will work closely with the project management team to ensure that all budgets and estimates are accurate, helping to maintain the financial integrity of the projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage project estimates, from early stages to final tendering.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to gather bids.
• Ensure estimates meet project requirements and client expectations.
• Analyze project blueprints and specifications to prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates.
• Evaluate bid proposals and identify the best suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors for each project.
• Coordinate with the project team to review estimates and ensure project costs align with budgets.
• Prepare and present detailed cost reports to clients and senior management.

Qualifications:

• 3 or more years of estimating experience in commercial construction.
• Strong background in retail and restaurant projects.
• Familiarity with Procore and estimating software
• Experience with estimating software such as ProEst, PlanSwift, or other relevant tools.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage supplier relationships.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
• Attention to detail and the ability to accurately assess costs for materials, labor, and equipment.

Pay & Benefits:

• Full-time, permanent position
• Pay: CA$75,000 - CA$90,000 per year, based on experience.
